The Kingman Police Officer’s Association proudly endorses Mayor Ken Watkins for reelection! See the following letter from the President of the Kingman Police Officer’s Association:

To the Citizens of Kingman,

The Kingman Police Officers Association is proud to offer our full endorsement of Mayor Ken Watkins for reelection.

Mayor Watkins has faithfully served the citizens of Kingman since joining the City Council in 2018 and has led our community as Mayor since 2022. Throughout his years of service, he has demonstrated a genuine commitment to making Kingman a stronger, safer, and more prosperous community for everyone who calls it home.

As a longtime local business owner, Ken understands Kingman in a way that cannot be taught. His roots in this community run deep, and every decision he makes reflects his desire to preserve what makes Kingman special while embracing thoughtful growth and opportunity. He recognizes that responsible development means creating jobs, attracting quality businesses, expanding shopping and dining opportunities, and improving the quality of life for our residents, all while remaining mindful of the financial impact on the taxpayers who make this city possible.

Mayor Watkins has consistently recognized the importance of investing in the men and women who serve this community every day. This support has helped move public safety compensation in a more competitive direction, strengthening our ability to recruit and retain qualified police officers and other first responders in an increasingly competitive market. More importantly, his support has never been limited to public safety alone. He has remained committed to ensuring that employees across the entire City organization are valued and fairly compensated, understanding that every department plays a critical role in serving our residents.

What sets Mayor Watkins apart is his willingness to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and seek practical solutions. He approaches challenges with an open mind, values collaboration, and continually looks for ways to improve our city, not just for today, but for future generations. His leadership is grounded in integrity, fiscal responsibility, and a sincere desire to do what is best for the people of Kingman.

Strong communities require leaders who are forward-thinking while remaining connected to the people they serve. Mayor Watkins has consistently demonstrated that balance through his leadership, his dedication to public service, and his unwavering commitment to the continued success of Kingman.

Our endorsement is based on one simple principle: the citizens of Kingman deserve leaders who put the community first, make thoughtful decisions, and are committed to building a safer, stronger future for everyone who calls Kingman home.

For these reasons, the Kingman Police Officers Association is proud to give Mayor Ken Watkins our full endorsement. We are confident that his experience, vision, and proven leadership will continue moving Kingman in the right direction, and we respectfully encourage the citizens of Kingman to support his reelection.

Respectfully,

Jesse Kennedy

President,

Kingman Police Officers Association
