Kingman County Commissioners voted unanimously at a special meeting held at 2:00 p.m. September 1, 2026, to issue a COUNTYWIDE BURN BAN for the next 14 DAYS .
This will be re-evaluated at their next regular scheduled meeting on September 14, 2026.

It’s that time of year again. As students head back to school across Kingman County, we ask everyone to take a little extra care behind the wheel.

School traffic can mean more vehicles, pedestrians and unexpected stops. Give yourself a little extra time during your morning and afternoon commute and watch for children who may be walking or biking to school.
