Kingman EMS is extremely grateful that our partners at Kingman Healthcare Center offered us the opportunity to send providers to the University of Kansas Health Systems training for OB emergencies. Our providers were able to review and learn new skills and gain confidence in assisting with deliveries.

Come join us for a fun two days! Explore what it is like to be a first responder here in Kingman!

We are excited about our 2nd year with our 1st Responders Youth Camp!!!!!

This is a free Co-Ed camp for kids ages 12 - 18 that are interested in following a career in EMS, Rescue, Fire or PD, June 3rd and 4th. The youth with spend 1/2 a day with each of the professions learning with the Kingman Professionals and having a great time! Kingman EMS had a great time at the KES career fair yesterday. Deputy Chief Jason Wegner, EMT Lucas Hinton, Paramedic Tim Lemen, and EMT Jennifer Campbell showed off our monitor, AutoPulse, and hands only CPR in addition to talking about our profession. We are grateful for the opportunity to interact with the youth in our community!

Last week we had so much fun talking with the Kingman 3rd grade class about what we do. AEMT Katherine Frazier, EMT Bella Lampe, EMT Jennifer Campbell, and Chief Maddi Rhodes showed off our monitor, cot, truck, and of course all of the lights. We love visiting with the youth in our community. Thanks for letting us be apart of your day!

Come join our team! We are looking to hire members of the community as Ambulance Drivers. Drivers will assist EMS by driving transfers as needed. Must live in the City of Kingman, be 18 years or older, and hold a valid drivers license. If you meet these criteria we would love to talk! On Thursday night at the comission meeting, with his family in attendance, we were able to recognize and promote Paramedic Jason Wegner to Deputy Chief. Deputy Chief Wegner has continuously shown his dedication to the service, his compassion and support for his fellow team members, and his desire to learn. We are grateful for his hard work and are excited to see him continue to grow and move the service forward in this new role. Congratulations Jason on this well deserved promotion!

Kingman EMS will be hosting a BLS class. This is a blended course requiring an online portion to be completed prior to attending the scheduled skills session on 1/9/2025 at 11am. We have 8 openings for any healthcare professionals needing to renew their certification. Please contact us with any questions!

Wow Kingman, you have blown us away with your generosity! Last week we were able to deliver 2,560lbs of food and goods and $1,456.94 to the local food bank following our annual “Fill the Ambulance” food drive. Thank you Kingman! We would also like to thank the Kingman High School JAG students who come each year and help us unload and sort all of the donations!
