⚠️ Missing cattle. ⚠️

On 09/01/26, the Kingman County Sheriff’s Office received a report of missing cattle. Six head went missing in the Southwest part of Kingman County, Kansas. One has since been recovered by the owner. The outstanding 5 will be either Red Angus Cross or Herford as well as a mixture of steers and heifers. These cattle weigh approximately 400-600 pounds each.

Kingman County Commissioners voted unanimously at a special meeting held at 2:00 p.m. September 1, 2026, to issue a COUNTYWIDE BURN BAN for the next 14 DAYS and will be re-evaluated at their next regular scheduled meeting on September 14, 2026.
