RISK ANALYST

Mohave County is seeking a Risk Analyst to support County-wide workplace safety, OSHA compliance, transportation safety, and loss prevention initiatives. This position serves as a safety resource to County departments by conducting safety inspections, identifying hazards, performing risk assessments, and supporting compliance with applicable OSHA and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate is:

A proactive safety professional with experience in occupational safety, OSHA compliance, accident investigation, transportation safety, safety inspections, and employee training.

Comfortable working independently in both office and field environments while effectively collaborating with employees, supervisors, and operational leadership to promote a safe and compliant workplace.

Salary Range: Range18/Steps 1-6 ($26.93 - $31.22)

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Frequent travel throughout Mohave County, including visits to remote work locations, active job sites, and field operations.

✅ Insurance administration and Certificates of Insurance (COI) review
✅ Workplace safety and OSHA compliance
✅ Safety training and loss prevention programs
✅ Building and worksite safety inspections
✅ Vehicle accident investigations
✅ Workers' compensation and liability claims management

This dynamic position offers a combination of office and field assignments, depending on your area of responsibility, providing variety and opportunities to work directly with County departments.

💼 Starting Salary: $26.93 – $29.43 per hour (DOE)
