The Bird Club is offered at no cost to students.

About the Bird Club:
What: A weekly program where students learn about birds and engage in birdwatching.
Who: Open to all students from 2nd grade and up. Max 20 students per day.
Duration and time: Every Wednesday for 4 weeks (April 30, May 7, 14, and 28) from 7:20am-8:00am
The program includes:
Birdwatching with high-quality, child-sized binoculars.
Exploring local bird species, including their identification, vocalizations, and behaviors.
Engaging with and appreciating the local environment surrounding the school.

El Día del Niño (Day of the Child) 5/2
Día del Niño is a BIG deal in Mexico, other Latin American countries, and here at Kings Beach Elementary! ELAC and PACE will celebrate our students with a day filled with music, dance, and games for the whole school. Each grade level will have 30 minutes play time. 3/27, Thursday- Family Dinner and Reading Night (5:00-7:00pm)
Join PACE and Boys and Girls Club for an evening of free family dinner, reading and books at the Family Dinner and Reading Night (3/27 5-7pm). Community members of all ages are welcome to join. We will have local celebrities reading some of our favorite stories in English and Spanish. Every child who attends will get a free book to bring home! Bring your PJs and something cozy!

27/3, jueves-Cena Familiar y Noche de Lectura (5:00-7:00pm)
¡Únete a BGCNLT and KBE PACE para una noche de comida, diversión e historias! Disfrutaremos de una noche de comida gratuita, lectura y libros en la Noche de Lectura y Cena familiar (27/3 5-7pm). Nos visitaran celebridades locales que leeran nuestras historias favoritas en ingles y español. Cada niño que participe se llevara un libro de regalo!

Math Morning and Parent Social- Friday, February 28th 8-10am
Visit your child’s classroom and play fun math games and activities. PACE will have coffee and hot drinks when you arrive! Afterwards, join the principals and other parents for coffee and pastries in our cafeteria.

Mañana de Matemáticas y encuentro de padres - Viernes, 28 de Febrero de 8 a 10am
La Mañana de Matemáticas vuelve a KBE! Visite la clase de su estudiante y juegue divertidos juegos de matemáticas. PACE ofrecerá café y bebidas calientes al inicio del evento! Y luego podrá conversar con otros padres y directivos en la cafeteria, en donde tendremos más bebidas y bocadillos.

January 31 (Friday): Family Movie Night at KBE Cafeteria. Free admission. Doors open at 5pm and movie will begin at 5:30pm. Movie will be played in Spanish with English subtitles. BOTTOMLESS POPCORN for all! There will be a raffle for the movie DVD, logowear, and free dress day! Bring sleeping bags, pillows, chairs, or whatever and get cozy for a night of movie spectacular!

Viernes 31 de enero: Noche de Pelicula Familiar en la cafetería de KBE. ¡Un evento GRATIS para todas las familias! Las puertas abren a las 5pm y película a las 5:30pm. La película será en español con subtítulos en inglés. ¡Palomitas gratis para todos! Tendremos una rifa de DVD y Día sin Uniforme.Traiga bolsas de dormir, almohadas, sillas o lo que sea que quiera para sentirse cómodo durante la película!
