The Annual Cops and Kids Christmas with an Officer event went spectacularly well again this year. We were able to provide necessary items and even some games and toys to about 50 children in our county to help enhance their Christmas.

This event isn't possible without many, many people.

Though I will undoubtedly miss some people in this post, I do wish to offer my sincere gratitude to the following for their organization and logistical support of this event:

Detective Brandi Carter-Clements
Retired Deputy Sheriff Ron Reeves
Retired Lieutenant Johnny Miller
Retired Officer Don Winters

We also received uniformed officer presence from numerous area police departments, including the Warren County Sheriff's office, Warren County Probation Department, Warren County Coroner's Office, Springboro Police Department, Mason Police Department, Hamilton Township Police Department, Clearcreek Township Police Department, Morrow Police Department, and King's Island Police Department

Additional groups assisted us as well and include the Franklin Clerk of Courts, and the Blue Knights Police Motorcycle Club, and the spouses and children of our members, Lebanon Ford, and Meijer Deerfield Township.

Last, thanks goes for the monetary support we receive from our dues paying members and our community, who donate so freely to this program.

Merry Christmas all.
