GRAYLING SOCCER INVITATIONAL CHAMPIONS! ⚽🏆

What a day for KHS Boys Soccer! The Flivvers went a perfect 3-0 yesterday to bring home the championship at the Grayling Soccer Invitational!

⚽ Kingsford 7, Standish-Sterling 3
⚽ Kingsford 6, Grayling 2
⚽ Kingsford 7, Sault Ste. Marie 1

That’s three wins and 20 goals on the day!

Flivvers on the Run! 💙🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️💛

The Kingsford High School Cross Country Team hit the course Friday at the NMU Wildcat Open, with a Flivver finishing in the Top 10 in both the boys and girls races!

-Maria Murvich had an outstanding 2nd-place finish in the girls race, crossing the line just two seconds behind first place!
-Cavan Mulligan finished 6th in the boys race.

Congratulations to Maria, Cavan, and the entire Cross Country Team on a great showing at NMU!

💙🚙💛 What an exciting day at Woodland Elementary!

Yesterday, our youngest Flivvers had the chance to explore their classrooms, meet their teachers, and get ready for the year ahead during Woodland’s Early 5 and Kindergarten Open House!

Families also had the opportunity to tour the beautiful Woodland Gardens. A big thank you to the dedicated volunteers who give their time and talents to help the gardens continue to flourish! 🌻🌿

We also want to recognize Mrs. Mollick and the Woodland D.R.I.V.E. Student Leadership Team for helping welcome families and providing tours throughout the day. What a great example of Flivvers helping Flivvers!

Thank you to all of the families, students, and staff who helped make today such a wonderful start to the 2026-2027 school year. We can’t wait to see even more of our Woodland families at the 1st-4th Grade Open House on Monday, August 24, from 1-4 p.m.

Throwbook Thursday Reveal! 💙🚙💛

The guesses are in, and it's time for the reveal!

Today's pages came from the 1958-1959 Kingsfordian!

That's right, we're looking back 67 years at student life at Kingsford High School!

From faculty teaching at the chalkboard to Student Council, the Hi-Y boys, and Kingsford's majorettes, these pages give us a wonderful glimpse into what it was like to be a Flivver in the late 1950s.

And now we can finally show you the cover! The striking green 1959 Kingsfordian certainly has a style all its own.

One of the best parts of looking through these older yearbooks is realizing how many generations have walked our halls, participated in our activities, learned from our teachers, and shared in the traditions of the Breitung Township Schools.

💙💛 Meet the Flivvers! 💛💙

Tonight was the Kingsford High School Athletic Booster Club’s Meet the Flivvers, and it was a great way to kick off another exciting season of Flivver athletics!

Our community enjoyed hot dogs, brats, chips, and cookies served by members of our administrative team and Athletic Booster Club before Flivver fans were introduced to our Fall Sports teams:

We've added a new interactive bus route lookup tool to the page. Families can enter their street name to help identify the bus route that may serve their address.

Please note: This is a new tool, and while we've worked to make it as accurate as possible, it may contain errors. Families should use the official bus route PDFs posted on the page as the primary source for route and stop information.

If the interactive tool gives you unexpected information or you're unsure which route applies to your family, please check the route PDFs or contact Schilleman's Bus Service.

💙💛 MEET THE TEAM: WOODLAND EARLY 5 & KINDERGARTEN! ⚾

The 2026–2027 school year is almost here, and we’re excited to introduce the incredible team that will be welcoming some of our youngest Flivvers to Woodland Elementary!

As you look through this year’s Woodland “trading cards,” you might notice something: we have a BIG Kindergarten team, and that’s something we’re very proud of.

Having multiple Kindergarten classrooms allows us to maintain smaller class sizes, giving our teachers more opportunities to know each child, build meaningful relationships, provide individual attention, and create the caring classroom environment our youngest learners need to thrive.

And our support doesn’t stop with the classroom teacher. Our Early 5 and Kindergarten students are surrounded by an outstanding team of special education, speech-language, behavioral, social work, and other professionals working together to help every child succeed.

It’s one of the things that makes Woodland, and Breitung Township Schools, special:
