📱 Phones and Tablets Before the Age of 4 – What Can They Do to a Child’s Brain?

A young child’s brain develops faster during the first years of life than at any other stage. This is when millions of neural connections are formed, creating the foundation for future learning, communication, attention, and emotional development.

Excessive use of phones and tablets may affect:

✨ the ability to self-regulate and calm down

What best supports healthy brain development?

From my experience, children learn the most through movement, play, and meaningful interactions with people. It is everyday real-life experiences that build a child’s brain – not a screen.

Remember, it’s not about completely eliminating screens. It’s about mindful and balanced use. What young children need most is the real world.
