Today we participated in a multiagency disaster drill at the Tri-Cities Airport. We loved getting to work and train with all of the agencies from around the area.

Our thoughts and prayers are with Eddie Williams family and friends. Thank you for all of the support you gave Kingsport Lifesaving Crew throughout the years. You will be missed dearly.

We are saddened to share the passing of Eddie Williams, who faithfully served as our department treasurer since the very beginning—more than 50 years of unwavering dedication. Eddie’s steady leadership helped shape Sullivan West into the department we are today, and his impact reached far beyond our community—felt throughout the county and across the region.
Even though Eddie is no longer with us, the impact he made on this department, our community, and our county will be felt for generations. His service, his integrity, and the example he set will continue to guide those who follow.
Rest easy, Eddie. Thank you for everything.

Yesterday we conducted a Search and Rescue Training. It was cold and there was snow on the ground, but we have to be ready for any type of weather. Thank you to our members that participated in this training and thank you to the instructors that taught it.

Last night our organization held our Annual Installation of Officers Banquet. We celebrated what a great year we had in 2025! Thank you to Colonial Heights Methodist Church for hosting us and thank you to all of our guests that came to celebrate with us.
