While we celebrate 35 years of CASA for Kids, today we recognize our Kingsport Volunteer Coordinator, Eden Chamberlain on her 1-year work anniversary. Eden has made a great impact in her short time with CASA and look forward to many more years with her on staff. Thank you Eden, for all you do for CASA for Kids!

CASA for Kids, Inc. Healthy Kingsport Walk for Wellness Expo today, 3 pm to 6 pm at the Kingsport Farmers Market. Come by and check out over 40 vendors that will educate and activate organizations to improve overall wellbeing!

Yesterday afternoon, CASA for Kids, Inc was honored to be a part of the Strong Kids: Every Child Every Family Foster Care Summit at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Bristol Program Director, Robin Barhydt, CASA volunteer Connie O’Dell, and Executive Director Shannon Kern enjoyed connecting with new friends from Omni Family of Services and saying hello to our current partners at Clarvida.

We were especially grateful to hear a couple foster families share their powerful experiences and to spend time exchanging practical ideas and strategies for getting the word out about the ongoing need for foster families in our region.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this summit possible and who is working every day to ensure every child and every family is supported.
