We are looking for at least 5 volunteers each day next week to help with installing siding at a Disaster Recovery Build in Chuckey, TN.

We are so thrilled to be able to build this new home after the previous home shifted off its permanent foundation during Hurricane Helene.

Volunteer Dates:
• Monday, August 24, 9am to 3pm
• Tuesday, August 25, 9am to 3pm
• Wednesday, August 26, 9am to 3pm
• Thursday, August 27, 9am to 3pm
• Friday, August 28, 9am to 3pm

We are excited to be moving into our new administrative office, and we need your help to get everything ready!

We're looking for volunteers to lend a hand on one (or both!) of the following days:

Tuesday, August 11 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• General cleaning throughout the office
• Preparing the space for move-in

Wednesday, August 12 | 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Unpacking boxes
• Organizing files and office supplies
• Helping set up our new workspace

Location:
1034 Wilcox Court, Kingsport TN

Volunteer Requirements:
• Must be 16 years of age or older
• No experience necessary
• Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes

What a day! Our whole Holston Habitat crew teamed up with our amazing volunteers to work on our new office, and it was amazing to see everyone come together. There were lots of laughs, plenty of teamwork, and a real sense of accomplishment as we made progress on our future home base. We can’t wait to welcome you all to our new space soon—stay tuned for updates!
