About 30 students from Dobyns-Bennett High School and DB Excel recently volunteered to paint trash barrels at Allandale in preparation for the Trash Barrel Paint-In in July.

This year, participants at the Trash Barrel Paint-In won’t have to bring spray paint to cover up last year’s artwork before they start their own designs.

Sherwin Williams Paint Co. partnered with Keep Kingsport Beautiful and donated white paint and supplies for volunteers to paint all barrels before the Trash Barrel Paint-In! More painting days are scheduled in June.

For more information or to volunteer, contact Sharon Hayes at [email protected] or call 423-392-8814.
