The University of Rhode Island and RI Department of Behavioral Healthcare, Developmental Disabilities, and Hospitals are conducting a survey to understand how Behavioral Healthacre services in RI can be imporved. Individuals with thoughts on Behavioral Healthcare services in RI as a consumer, provider, or family member of a consumer are eligible to participate in the survey.
Behavioral Healthcare services include things like counseling services (individual or group therapy) for concerns that may include but are not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, eating disorders (these might be counseling for depression, anxiety, etc.), outpatient/inpatient substance use treatment services, detox centers, drug and alcohol rehab center for concerns with substances such as alcohol, opioids, co***ne, m**h, benzos, prescription medication, and so on.
If you have received, provided, or have a family member who has received behavioral healthcare services, we want to hear from you! The survey results will contribute to an overall needs assessment for the Rhode Island substance use and mental health Block Grants. These are federal grants used to support prevention, treatment, and recovery services for substance use and mental health. Your participation in the survey will help us gain a better understanding of what the needs and service gaps are in our state. Please share the link with anyone who could be applicable (providers, people who have received services, or family members of people who have received services). Participants who complete the survey will be entered into a drawing for a chance to receive a $30 gift card.
