Monday: Town Hall Closed (Town Clerk's Office will be open 3-5pm to accept absentee ballots only)
Tuesday: CLOSED for election
Wednesday: Town Clerk's Office open at 12 (all other offices open as usual)
Thursday: 8am-4pm
Friday: Closed

Some Important Absentee Ballot Information:
The Town Clerk's Office will be open on Labor Day, September 7th from 3-5pm to receive absentee ballots only.
Absentee ballots will begin being processed at the State Primary Election at 10am on September 8th, 2026.

If you are unable to attend the election next Tuesday, absentee ballots are still available at the Town Clerk's office.

1️⃣6️⃣ DAYS until the State Primary Election. We will be completing our testing in the coming weeks. This will be noticed and the public is welcome to attend! Keep an eye out for the notice!

Time for another election fact: Ballot counting devices are not connected to the internet and are tested before they are used in each election.

❗NOTICE- Tomorrow, Friday August 21 at 9am, Town Hall staff and members of the Kingston Police Department will be conducting an active shooter preparedness training. There will be several vehicles in the lot and activity in the area of Town Hall, 163 Main Street.

However, as usual on Fridays, Town Hall will be closed for business.

Check your voter status! Per RSA 654:39, the Supervisors of the Checklist removed over 300 individuals form the voter checklist whom have not voted in any election in the past five years.

The Town of Kingston is updating its Master Plan — a long-range planning document that helps guide future decisions about land use, housing, transportation, natural resources, community facilities, economic development, and overall quality of life. The Master Plan serves as a roadmap for how Kingston can guide change, invest in itself, and make important land use related decisions over the next 10 to 15 years.

The Town Clerk's Office has received both Republican & Democratic absentee ballots for the Primary Election.

We will be counting these ballots tomorrow, Wednesday August 5th beginning at 10am.

Absentee Ballot Applications are available for the upcoming Primary and General Elections.

- State Primary Election: September 8th, 2026
- State General Election: November 3rd, 2026

Please note, applicants must verify identity to receive an absentee ballot.
- If submitting the Absentee Ballot Application in person, an ID must be provided to the Clerk's Office at that time.
- If submitting the application electronically via email, a copy of an ID must be emailed with the application.

- Including a notarized signature on the absentee ballot application form.
