๐ŸŒฑ KES Garden Club is Growing! ๐ŸŒฑ

Since launching this spring, our KES Garden Club has met every Wednesday after school to learn the basics of gardening. Students started seeds indoors and in homemade milk jug greenhouses before transplanting them into our garden beds. Theyโ€™ve also grown plants to create appreciation gifts for our staff. ๐ŸŒผ

Thanks to the generosity of local businesses and community members, the club now has a garden wagon, tools, and other supplies to help keep growing. ๐Ÿšœ๐ŸŒฟ

We are so proud of our students for their dedication and hard work, and incredibly thankful to Mrs. Mossner and Ms. LeClair for volunteering their time each week to make this opportunity possible for our KES kids! ๐ŸŒฑ๐ŸŒป

๐Ÿšธ Kingston Community Schools would like to recognize and thank the Tuscola County Community Foundation for funding crosswalk safety improvements at Kingston Elementary School through a previous grant award. โค๏ธ

The grant helped fund the installation of flashing crosswalk lights, updated signage, and additional lighting to improve visibility during dark morning drop-off times.๐Ÿšฆ These enhancements continue to help keep our students, staff, and families safe each day. ๐Ÿซ

We are grateful for the Foundationโ€™s investment in the safety and well-being of our school community.
