The Inter-Agency Council on Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking is holding its annual forum on Domestic Violence on Wednesday, October 28.

This year’s programming will feature two presentations: The first, led by Anca Watt, founder of Level-Up Safety, explores how to strengthen domestic violence prevention and community safety through fostering trusted relationships, recognizing symptoms, and cross-collaboration among service providers and government agencies.

The second, led by Tara Sanders, Co-Chair of Integrated Ulster's Trauma-Informed Care Collaborative, delves into the impact of vicarious trauma on professionals and advocates who regularly witness and respond to community members in crisis with the goal of bolstering their personal and professional resilience.

This event is free and open to the public. Check-in begins at 8:45 AM. Refreshments will be served. Please register at ulstercountyny.gov/2026-DV-forum-registration.
