Tonight we congratulate Fire Fighter Josh DeNigris on successfully completing the NJ State FF1 exam. As one of our newest members in Kingston Josh is always ready and willing to learn and assist the department. We look forward to a bright future with Josh. Congratulations again!

Congratulations to 4 South Brunswick Firefighters on completing Confined Space Operations. On 5/30/2026 and 5/31/2026, 2 FDSB and 2 Kingston Firefighters spent their weekend attending this 16 hour training course. They learned valuable skills and were very hand-on during the practicals.

On 5/23/2026, Kingston firefighters joined civilians to participate in the 2026 Tough Mudder Philadelphia at the Plantation Field, Coatesville, PA, with tickets sponsored by the Uberall family.

It was gruesome. High was at 56°F. In the rain and at times, fierce wind, we did not quit and finished the 15K challenge. We shivered… a lot, but did not quit.

While we build for the future, we do not forget the past. Members today placed flags to memorialize and honor our deceased firefighters. A touch of rain from the above set the mood for us as we paid tribute to those that paved the way. Never forget.

The Kingston Volunteer Fire Department welcomes one of our newest members, Christian Forbes. Today, Christian officially tackled his first fire as a recruit in Kingston today. As a new member, Chris will be attending the Fire Academy this summer to be formally certified as a NJ State Firefighter. Welcome to the team Christian!

During our monthly training exercise last night, members practiced ladder and roof operations, focusing on efficiently deploying ladders and utilizing hoisting equipment for roof access in emergency situations.
