Good morning and a beautiful one it is! Please give a listen to the raucous begging from the newly fledged Common Ravens. This marks the 6th consecutive year these birds have either nested in the Ulster County Highway Department yard or the neighboring stadium light towers.
Likely this same pair became the first confirmed ravens breeding in the state to start the NYS Breeding Bird Atlas in 2020. Kingston Parks and Recreation

Kingston Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the return of our Naturalist Passport Program! Join us every Thursday from 3:30 PM–4:30 PM throughout June, July, and August as we explore nature in all its amazing forms.

Each week, families and children will have the opportunity to discover local wildlife, learn about plants and habitats, enjoy hands-on activities, and connect with the natural world around them. Whether you're a budding naturalist or simply love spending time outdoors, there's something for everyone!
