Please be advised that there is a water main break on Cedar Street. Cedar Street will be closed between Iwo Jima Lane and Sterling Street while KWD crews complete the necessary repairs.

Customers in the area may experience temporary water service interruptions during the repair work.

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to resolve the issue as quickly and safely as possible.

KWD Job Vacancy -- Skilled Laborer:
The Kingston Water Department has an opening for a Skilled Laborer. This is a full time, non-competitive position within the City Civil Service with an annual salary of $53,740. The minimum qualifications include graduation from high school (or GED Equivalency Diploma) and physical ability commensurate with work involving the repair and maintenance of water mains, valves, hydrants and other water distribution maintenance work. The successful candidate must possess a valid NYS driver’s license with a clean driving record. Please submit a completed application to the Kingston Water Department, 111 Jansen Avenue.
