This week we're celebrating National Library Week and School Library Month, and we got to peek inside an average library visit at Wolfle Elementary to show you what it's all about! 📚
Third graders started their session by checking out books, then gathered together to recap what had been read aloud during their last visit before diving back into the story. During read aloud time, students could choose how they wanted to engage — drawing, coloring, working on a word search, or quietly reading a book of their own. It's a simple but thoughtful approach that makes the library a space where every student can feel comfortable and engaged.
Our library specialists bring creativity, warmth, and a genuine love of reading to every session, and we are so grateful for all of our library media specialists across our district. 💚🩵
