Today, we celebrated our 8th grade students. They were provided with a fresh variety of tacos, doughnuts, kolaches, and more!

They took a trip down memory lane and added their favorite GMS memory to the "Memory Wall." They were "signing out" of their 8th grade year on a banner, wrote advice/words of encouragement for incoming students, wrote notes to their future self, signed each others shirt/item, and ended with a mini dance party!

We already miss you but we know each and every one of you will excel in anything you put your mind to!!!!

Today, the CTE classes of Medical Terminology and Principles of Health came together to practice, chest compressions, Heimlich maneuver and general medical emergencies that effect everyday life. Classes were held for all to utilize not only the skills taught but appropriate medical terminology that should be conveyed to incoming services, such as 911 responders. The participation level and commitment to providing safe, effective care was fantastic! We are very proud of these future health care providers, they have worked hard and demonstrate a resilience that will serve them well regardless of what avenue they pursue as they continue their educational journey. Their instructor is Nurse Yandell.
