Students at Gillett Middle School explored flight and drone technology this week by launching their own paper rockets as well as learning the basic principles of flight, practicing safe launching operation, solving hands-on challenges, analyzing flight performance, and using teamwork and problem-solving skills. They also explored careers related to aviation, and drone technology.

All 8th grade students will report directly to H.M King High School by 8:00 am tomorrow. Parents will need to drop off students at the media center (library).

8th graders who walk to Gillett Middle School will be transported by bus to the high school.
