🚨 County Judge Rudy Madrid & and Kingsville Mayor Sam Fugate have received notification of 14 COVID-19 cases and 12 probable cases. These numbers represent FIVE days of data.

‼️ The Judge and Mayor have also been notified of one additional COVID-19 related death.

🧮 Ten newly reported cases and 12 probable cases are considered active and are being monitored by Texas DSHS. Our active case count decreases to 75.

🤳🏽 Visit KlebergVaccineClinic.com to register for the Moderna Vaccine. Anyone 18+ is eligible.

🦽 Homebound citizens or those who need assistance can register for their vaccine at (361) 595-8577. Please call to coordinate.

💉 Christus Spohn is hosting a mass vaccine clinic Monday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Anyone 16+ can attend.

🦠 The FREE fixed COVID-19 site is open Tuesday and Thursday this week from 9 am to 4 pm at the Kingsville Health Department at 3421 N. Farm to Market 1355.

👩🏻‍💻 You may register ahead of time at GoGetTested.com, otherwise you can register on-site.

GoGetTested.com aims to keep communities across the US open and safe by making access to Covid-19 testing available for everyone.

👉 If you previously reported damage to TDEM, you will still have to make a report here to apply for individual disaster assistance.

‼️UPDATE: The City of Kingsville has made FREE potable water available at South Gate Mall at 2331 Brahma Blvd.

💦 You must bring your own bucket or jug to fill.

💧 The water is safe to use and DOES NOT need to be boiled.

Notice for CITY OF KINGSVILLE WATER CUSTOMERS:

❄️ Temperatures are now above freezing and there is NO NEED to drip your faucets until temperatures dip to freezing again.

💧 Please check your property for any excess water that may indicate you have a leak and call to report them to our non-emergency Police Department line at (361) 592-4311, so that crews may turn off the main.

🚿 There is still NO NEED to boil water but we do need to collectively slow our use of it.

❄️ Frigid temperatures will continue to impact our through Tuesday with freezing rain predicted to cause hazardous conditions through Tuesday.

👉🏼 For the safety of our staff and citizens, administrative offices for the City of Kingsville and Kleberg County will remain closed Tuesday. Essential employees will be standing by to respond as needed.

🗑 Trash service will resume Tuesday as scheduled, but pick ups may be delayed due to icy roads. Please be careful placing your rollouts in the street for pick up and be patient with crews. They will be working to get to everyone on their route.

🔥 Take precautions with space heaters and if needed, make plans to utilize Kleberg County’s Warm Zone. Residents in need can call (361) 455-5034 for a ride.

🐕 Make accommodations for your outdoor pets and protect any exposed pipes & plants.

🚙 Roads can turn icy and hazardous fast, stay off them if you can and if you must travel, the website drivetexas.org can be a helpful resource.

💉 Due to dangerous conditions, the COVID-19 Pfizer second dose clinic at Christus Spohn Kleberg originally set for Monday, February 15th has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 18th.

🦠 The COVID-19 fixed testing site will be closed through Tuesday due to inclement weather. It is scheduled to reopen Wednesday.
