Airfield Gate F-5 near Training Air Wing Two is malfuntioning and has been secured.
Until further notice, use Gate F-6.

IMPORTANT GATE CLOSURE INFO STARTING NEXT MONDAY:
1. Main gate will be closed, start using back gate on Caesar Ave.
2. CVI will be open on GEN Cavazos, so all commercial vehicles will enter through main gate on Cavazos/Truan.
3. Paving project should last 3-4 weeks.

The NAS Kingsville Navy Exchange and Chiefs’ Mess held a ‘fashion show’ Aug. 21 as the latest Chief Selects tried on their various new uniforms.
It also included a challenge to drop balls into a cup – without hands.

Commander Rudy Hawkins, the NAS Kingsville Executive Officer, retired after 23 years of service on Aug. 21.

His childhood friend, Air Force Colonel Joshua Nuccio, was guest speaker and Captain Richard Christoff, NASK commanding officer, presented him the Meritorious Service Medal.

Command staff members presented him with signed memento and he presented a command flag to his wife before he and his family were 'piped ashore' for the final time.
