Brush Country CASA’s mission is to support dedicated community volunteers to advocate for children, youth and their families within the child protective system in. As a Court Appointed Special Advocate, or CASA volunteer, you can keep abused and neglected children safe while they reach a safe, permanent home. YOU ARE NOT A FOSTER PARENT, you are a voice making a difference at a critical point in a child's life.

In the past two weeks, two people from our community have stepped up to begin the journey of becoming CASA volunteers. That may not sound like a lot, but for a child in foster care, one caring adult can make a lifelong impact. ❤️

Brush Country CASA is looking for more local volunteers who are ready to be a voice for children in Kleberg, Brooks, Duval, Jim Wells, and Kenedy County.

You do not have to be perfect. You just have to be willing to show up.

As Father’s Day comes to a close, we hope all the dads, grandfathers, stepdads, and father figures in our community had a wonderful day filled with love and appreciation.

At Brush Country CASA, we know that a caring, supportive adult can make a lasting difference in a child’s life. Today, we celebrate the men who show up, provide guidance, and help children feel safe, valued, and loved.

Thank you to all the fathers and father figures who make a positive impact every day. We hope you had a very Happy Father’s Day! 💙
