The Kleberg County Sheriff’s Office extends our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and colleagues of Jim Wells County Precinct 2 Constable Frank Davila Jr.

Constable Davila dedicated his life to serving and protecting his community with honor, integrity, and commitment. His service and sacrifice will not be forgotten, and his legacy will continue to live on through those whose lives he touched.

During this difficult time, we stand with the Davila family and our brothers and sisters in law enforcement throughout Jim Wells County.
We pray for comfort, strength, and peace for all who mourn his passing.

Constable Frank Davila Jr., who took office in January 2025, died Friday while serving Precinct 4 in Jim Wells County.

We may argue over the radio, question each other’s traffic, and occasionally test each other’s patience… but at the end of the day, we work side by side to keep Kleberg County safe.

To quote our amazing Comms Supervisor:
Patrol says “I’ve got your six” because they’ve got your back.
Dispatch says “We’ve got your 12” because we’ve got the call details, the history, the plates, the warrants, and everything you need before you even arrive.

Different roles. Same mission.
