It's Springtime and we are launching another "Speakers' Series". On the third Sunday of each month during the summer and fall, we will present programs of historical interest.
This month on the 17th we will feature a special program at 1:00. We will feature a collection of McGrew-Hagans family artifacts. Some have come from direct descendants of James and Persis Hagans McGrew; others have come from community members who recognized the McGrew name, and who have donated artifacts that are related to the family or reflect something that pertains to the life and times of the family.
Susan Hardesty will be available to provide information and answer questions you may have. She has done extensive research on the family, the end result being a published book. She also edited Mr. McGrew's biography of his wife, Persis.
Guests will receive a newly printed "Walking Tour Guide" to follow as they explore other rooms and displays throughout the house.
The program is free to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Also, the gift shop will be open.

Correction! I posted wrong dates for flower delivery. We will distribute flowers on Thursday, April 30 from 10:00 until 6:00. Also, salmon will not be available. The geranium colors are red, pink, pink sizzle, violet, rose flare, and white. Cost $15.00.
We also have ferns and a combination basket. Can call 329-0884 to order.
