With the nice weather on this International Firefighters Day, members of the Kinsman Vol. Fire Dept. took advantage and went around to our township dry hydrants and made sure they were operational and ready in case of an emergency. The crew also used this opportunity to train and brush up their skills on some pumping operations!

Recently, Kinsman Vol. Fire Dept. Received a grant through the Ohio State Fire Marshal and the Division of Commerce MARCs grant in the total amount of $3,659! This grant has allowed us to obtain valuable equipment, such as these two pagers and some better speakers for our radios in our trucks, as well as cover the user fees for an entire year for our radios, while at the same time not having to spend fire fund money on these necessary costs!
