Wearing purple on October 16th helps North Carolina work together, to build a culture where intimate partner violence is not tolerated and where we support survivors, hold abusers accountable, and work together to create communities where safety, respect, and justice prevail for everyone. 💜💜

Armory Supply Point (ASP-MEB-02 /HHD, 109th MP BN) hosted 8 force packages consisting of 30 plus Soldiers from the 105th Engineer Battalion during Operation Hurricane Erin Support.

These Soldiers went above and beyond in answering the call to serve their community and the citizens of North Carolina. They consistently prepared, trained, and fostered the MEB esprit de corps while awaiting assignments.

109th Battalion Change of Responsibility for outgoing Command Sergeant Major Randy Kite welcoming Sergeant Major Christopher Smith.

For the month of September, HHD Commander (CPT Marilyn Banks) gracefully coordinated 109th Military Police Battalion's 2nd Family Day Event during its Inactive Duty Training weekend to celebrate our Soldiers and their Families. Thank you for all that you do. Your sacrifice cannot be appreciated enough.

To the Families and Soldiers, thank you for your service to this country. Your bravery, sacrifice, and strength do not go unnoticed, and we will always be indebted to you and your family for all that you have given to your country. Military families are the backbone of our Soldiers, and their strength and resilience inspire us every day. The sacrifices made by your families and you do not go unnoticed, their unwavering support does not go unappreciated.

The North Carolina National Guard conducted Operation Vigilant Force, a National Guard Response Force (NGRF) validation exercise, June 2-16, 2023, at Ft. Barfoot, Virginia. This exercise trained the force on providing area security and protecting critical assets and infrastructure. The NGRF assists civil authorities to respond to and mitigate threats utilizing specific Military Police skill sets.
