NCDA&CS is requiring all pesticide license holders who passed their exam prior to July 1, 2025 to complete mandatory C&T Standards training online.

⚠️ This training MUST be completed by your next recertification date. Failure to complete the required training will result in the loss of your pesticide certification.

New Employee Spotlight!
Rachel Tarkington has joined the Lenoir County Cooperative Extension Office as our new Field Crops Agent. Born and raised on a farm in Eastern North Carolina, Rachel brings a lifelong connection to agriculture and a deep understanding of local farmers’ needs.

She earned her degree in Crop and Soil Science from NC State University and is passionate about providing research-based advice, educational programs, and on-farm support to help growers succeed. Rachel looks forward to visiting local farms, building relationships with the community, and supporting Lenoir County agriculture.
