Hey Bangor Maine Police Department...

What are y'all up to today?

Asking for a friend who's looking to negotiate some Maine Lobster rolls for some ENC BBQ, Bright Leaf Hot Dogs, a case of Pepsi, and a case of Cheerwine. The friend is very serious about this negotiation.

Recognizing a Commitment to Excellence

Today, Chief Goyette presented training bricks to Sgt. Miller, Captain Ard, and Sgt. Burkett in recognition of their dedication to professional development.

Sgt. Miller and Sgt. Burkett each earned their 2,500-hour training brick after completing more than 2,500 hours of non-mandated training.

Captain Ard was recognized for an incredible 7,500 hours of non-mandated training. He currently leads the department in training hours and continues to set the standard by leading through example.

The KPD Training Brick Program was introduced by Chief Goyette to recognize officers who go above and beyond in their pursuit of knowledge and professional growth. Their commitment to continuous learning strengthens our department and helps us better serve the citizens of Kinston.

Congratulations to all three on this well-deserved recognition!
