This September, we’re celebrating Kristen Colie and 1 year with Rotaract/Young Professionals! 💙

Kristen joined us in September 2025, and in her first year, she’s become a valued part of our team. She currently serves as our Social Media & Marketing Chair, bringing her creativity and perspective to how we share our organization and the work we’re doing in our community. 📱✨

For Kristen, one of her favorite things about being part of Rotaract/Young Professionals is the opportunity to learn more about our community and the people who make it special. She loves being surrounded by committed members who share a vision for growth, genuinely want to make a positive impact, and are passionate about bringing people together.

And honestly, we think that’s what makes this group so special — getting to work alongside people who care about where we live and want to help make it better. 💙

Apparently, our last photo clue was a walk in the park. Y'all solved it way too fast. 😒😂

So this time, we’re stepping it up. For our next joint social, Rotaract and Young Professionals are teaming up with a few other local groups to bring everyone together. The crowd is going to be great, and the location is locked in. 🤝✨

As for where? Absolute radio silence from us. 🤫
Instead, we’ve hidden our next destination in plain sight within the photo attached. No easy indoor landmarks this time—just good old-fashioned sleuthing.

🎉 Member Anniversary Spotlight! 🎉

This month, we’re celebrating Caitlin Wilson and 4 years of being part of Rotaract/Young Professionals! 💙

Caitlin joined in August 2022, after attending our fall drive-in movie in 2021 and absolutely loving the idea of bringing the community together through events like these. One drive-in later, she decided to join the team — and four years later, here we are!

Her favorite part of being a member? Hosting events that bring our community together. And if you’ve been keeping up with us lately, you’ve probably seen plenty of Caitlin — she’s the one popping up in our recent videos helping promote our upcoming drive-in movies! 🎬🍿

What started with attending a drive-in has come full circle. Today, Caitlin is serving as our President for the 2026–2027 year, helping lead the same organization that first caught her attention all those years ago.

Four years of service, community, friendships, events, and probably a whole lot more movie planning than she originally signed up for. 😂

We’re incredibly thankful for everything Caitlin brings to Rotaract/Young Professionals and for her continued commitment to creating opportunities for our community to come together.

Happy 4-year anniversary, Caitlin! Here’s to many more! 💙🎉

Okay… we need to talk about this for a second. 👀

When Rotaract and Young Professionals came together, each group had about 3–4 consistent members.

Fast forward to now…

Since March, we’ve welcomed EIGHT NEW MEMBERS into our combined group! 🤯🎉

That means we’ve more than doubled the number of people consistently showing up, getting involved, bringing ideas to the table, and helping us make things happen in our community.

And honestly? We’re just getting started. 👏

Seeing this kind of growth in such a short amount of time has been incredible. It’s proof that there are young professionals in our community who want to connect, serve, grow, and be part of something bigger.

So to our newest members: thank you for saying yes and jumping in! 💙

And to everyone who has been here from the beginning and helped get us to this point: look what we’re building. 🥹

Here’s to more members, more events, more community impact, and a whole lot more to come! 🥂🎉

A family favorite that’s sure to bring back some nostalgia while giving the kids a movie they’ll love too!

🛹 A portion of the proceeds from our October showing will benefit The Line, the new action sports park coming to Lenoir County. We’re excited to help support a project that will create new opportunities for recreation and bring even more to our community!

Tonight was our monthly business meeting, and WOW… we have so many exciting things in the works!

From community service projects and professional development opportunities to our upcoming Drive-In Movie Nights, we spent the evening planning ways to make an even bigger impact in our community.
