INTRODUCING LISA

My family has been part of this community for over 20 years. My 2 older children graduated from Octorara and my youngest is currently a high school junior. I was appointed to the board in the spring of 2020 by unanimous vote and have served since then as one of only two women board members. My reason for wanting to serve then is the same as now; I want to give back to the school community that gave me and my family so much.

I believe it takes a village, and the Octorara village was there for us. I still believe in this community, and while I understand there are those that think we are fractured, I will continue working for you to bring us back together as one. There are issues that seemingly divide us, but I will work on compromises and solutions for all. We all belong here, no matter your race, gender, or religion, and I believe together we can make our school community the village that supports everyone!
