Father Son roping night!
Man is it good to see these two teaming up.
Don dusted off his ropes and spurs to get some cows roped for Justin tonight and I think I can speak for everyone when I say “wow!” Nothing keeps these two from being incredible! They are my favorite team to watch and Don is of course my favorite coach.. I mean, where would any of us be without him?
If you or someone you know is in the market for lessons, Don Hood is the best there is (in my opinion) 😉

Faith is another rising star and we can’t leave her out, she had a tough go with LBYA this year, her best friend, Rylee got hurt and couldn’t make it through the series. BUT they healed up and came back to win their very first buckle at a weekday jackpot series for barrels and I couldn’t be more proud of the hard work and determination of these two. Good job Faith!

Teaching these kids how to be the best they can be and giving them the good ol’ cowboy fundamentals of life is what brings me so much joy. I am proud of each and every one of them.

Tyler came home with some new champion gear too from the LBYA year end banquet! He came 3rd in his age group for team roping. He sure has come a long way in his horsemanship and cowboy skills! I am so proud of this young man and all of my little champions, big and small.

We aren’t stopping with McKenzie!
Katelyn was also a shining star this summer!
Her and Mav have come together so well, they blew the roof off the arena when it came to key hole and brought home a shiny new buckle to add to their collection. Katelyn sure is coming into herself and has proven just how cowgirl she is. Great job, I am so proud of you!

To say we are proud of this little cowgirl is an understatement! McKenzie started competing in LBYA in May on my good ol’ horse Jack who carried my kids through LBYA but especially my son, Jack has a lot of miles on him and when him and McKenzie connected it put a fire back in him. McKenzie’s goal this year was to win her first champion buckle and she did that and more! I’m so proud to have this spit fire under my wing. Good job McKenzie and Jack!
