From the moment you dive in, your muscles, lungs, and mind all get to work. Unlike many forms of exercise, swimming is low-impact, which means it’s gentle on your joints while still building strength and endurance. Every stroke engages multiple muscle groups, helping you tone your body while improving flexibility and coordination.

With a variety of ways to improve your fitness, Wave Aquatics invites you to learn more about our programs, from swim lessons to competitive swim teams: www.waveaquatics.org.

May is Water Safety Month and there's no better time to brush up on the skills that save lives. Whether you're heading to the pool, lake, or beach this summer, water safety starts with education and preparation.

Never swim alone — always have a buddy or a lifeguard present.
Learn to swim — it's one of the most important life skills for any age.
Know CPR — early response makes all the difference in an emergency.
Respect the water — even strong swimmers can face unexpected conditions.
