Fairbanks Acres

Fairbanks Acres Dear Friends and Family,

Randy and Judi Fairbanks moved to King County over four decades ago and settled into a quiet corner of what is now part of Kirkland.

Attracted to the area for its pastoral setting, views of Mount Rainer and the Sammamish Valley they would raise three children in this home and eventually welcomed spouses and of course, grandchildren. The property with its enormous backyard, long private driveway, huge deck, and extensive dining room/kitchen would became the heart of many gatherings with family and friends. This past year the ine

vitable urban sprawl finally reached “Fairbanks Acres.” The park like setting with lawns, gardens, fruit trees and tall evergreens will soon become one of Kirkland’s newest major subdivisions. The change is bitter sweet, it may mark the end of an era, but it allows Randy and Judi to move closer to their children and grandchildren. This page is dedicated to Fairbanks Acres, for posting stories, pictures, and memories over the last 40 years. This page will be a unique memento for Randy and Judi to carry with them to their new home Please feel free to share this page with others, there are so many of you who have made this home special.
