Great advice from our friends over at DeKalb County.

Stay safe and dry! Don't let the OPs get ya!

Senior Class Water Wars have started. The annual tradition from the High School Seniors before graduation, trying to get their assigned target with a water gun until the last senior is standing.💦 🔫👨‍🎓

⚠️Why it can cause a problem⚠️
🔫Water guns are sometimes painted to resemble real fi****ms. And could possibly be mistaken for such.
📞Residents aren't aware of your game and call 911 when they see others being chased and lurking in the shadows.
🚨Police will be responding to what they believe are real threats.
🏎️Erratic driving while trying to catch up to one another.
🚷Trespassing on private property.

RESIDENTS if you see someone running through your neighborhood, chasing another person or carrying weapons, please still call 911. We would rather check in case there is a real threat of danger.

We're not trying to stop the fun. We want everyone to be safe. Things can go wrong very quickly, so think before you act. And be respectful of others around you.

❌Do not shoot from moving vehicles 🔫🚗
❌Do not shoot inside of businesses, restaurants or places of worship.
