The 8th grade formal is soon approaching and we could use parent volunteers to chaperone. The ASB leadership would also love help with an Amazon wishlist to purchase decorations, treats, and drinks for the dance.

Here are the details for the dance:
Date: Friday, May 29th
Time: 7 to 9 pm
Location: KiMS Commons, enter at the far end of the Cafeteria
Dress: Dress to impress from casual to formal -- be proudly you and wear what makes you feel best.

Tickets may be purchased during lunch on the 20th, 21st, 27th, 28th, and 29th. Tickets will not be available for purchase at the door.
Ticket Prices: $3 with ASB card and $5 without ASB card; Students must submit a completed permission form signed by their parent or guardian in order to purchase a ticket. If cost is an issue, please let us know.

To enter the dance, students must present their ticket and ASB card. Students are expected to stay for the duration of the dance. If students choose to leave prior to 9 pm, a parent or guardian must meet them at the door and sign them out. This is a safety precaution.

Celebrate your eighth grader by ordering a yard sign! kiMS PTSA is partnering with Kirkland‘s local Girl Scout troop 46719 to sell eighth grade yard signs for our Panthers this year. Order by May 22 and the truth will deliver assigned to your yard before the end of the school year. The final countdown is on for the last PTSA meeting this year! 6:30 tonight at school. We need a quorum to elect new officers, support next year's budget and plan to make 2026-27 amazing for our Panthers - please attend if you can!

We need as many members as possible to attend the Tuesday, May 12th KiMS PTSA General Member meeting. We will be voting on next year’s board members, standing rules, and budget. This cannot happen if we do not have quorum! Please join if you can so we don’t have to try and reschedule this meeting.
At 6:30pm, Ms. Cassaro will have an Ask Me Anything session. 7pm is the member meeting. 7:30pm we will have a presentation by the Lake Washington Schools Foundation about their parent education offerings.
