Our mission is to engage in ADVOCACY, promote INCLUSION, and provide essential RESOURCES to assist people with developmental disabilities to live self-determined lives. Our focus is to support the uniqueness of each individual with developmental disabilities by supporting individualized service to meet each person's needs, choices and strengths. We encourage cooperation and partnership with other

professional agencies in order to provide a network of alternatives. We feel this results in healthy individuals, healthy communities and a healthy environment. The goal for the center is to serve as a springboard to the community and to help individuals learn the skills needed to have productive and valued days so that they can live their best lives. Today was the first session of RAIL's Pre-ETS Courses!

Students in these courses can take sessions allowing them to focus on skills needed to transition into adulthood, or "the real world", independently! These courses cover Driver's Permit Education and Work Readiness Training.

Today, students were introduced to the Missouri Driving Manual, went over the first three chapters, and worked on learning road signs! Congrats to finishing your first session, see you at the next one!
