The campaign trailer has been burning up the roads today. Not quite my milestone birthday today, but feels closer and closer. I celebrated my birthday today on the road putting out signs in Putnam County with my son Zach and my Dad.

I’ve had great help with signs this past month and want to send a shout out to retired Sheriff Eldon Grissom, Blair and Chris Long, Evan and Nan Davis, Hayley Newman, my lovely wife, and Dora and Sierra Eitel! This sign crew has been the best! It was great seeing Don Summers today and chatting with CL Vestal. Event coming soon in Unionville at the Listening Room.

We are still working our way west soon to hit Sullivan County.

Come enjoy the food trucks tomorrow and visit with me in Novinger 5-8. Allie Smith has some new flavors on Frosted Flamingo Truck!

Heads up folks!

Official page takeover for Father’s Day! This is Angela, Todd’s wife, and I am thrilled to say Happy Father’s Day to the most incredible father, Todd! As he approaches 30 Father’s Days, I am in awe of his unwavering dedication. This remarkable man has coached baseball and soccer, led scouts, cheered on his kids in a variety of settings, and even glued sequins back onto shoes as a devoted Miss Missouri dad. He has lifted his children up when they fell, proudly walked two down the aisle, and beamed with pride at their high school and college graduations. While many of you may know him as a candidate for State Representative, I have the privilege of knowing the 21-year-old who fearlessly chased his dreams, became an amazing father to our three children, and the man we all admire today. His journey has not been easy, but it has been a testament to his unshakeable character. He has taken the high road when it mattered most, stood firm in his convictions, and remained honest to his mission even when others disagreed. We are forever grateful and proud of you, Todd, and celebrate you every day! We love you! Happy Father’s Day!

This is great news for anyone who has to travel here in Northeast Missouri as it will add another option to the list that is both convenient and affordable!

The City of Kirksville wishes to inform residents that the U.S. Department of Transportation has selected Contour Airlines’ two-destination proposal as the community’s Essential Air Service provider.

This will see 12 nonstop flights per week from Kirksville Regional Airport, with seven to Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD) and five to Dallas Fort Worth International Airport (DFW). The service begins on August 1, 2026.

“With access to major travel hubs of Chicago and Dallas-Fort Worth, residents of our community and region have an easy option to travel domestically and internationally,” said Kirksville Regional Airport Director Jeff Lafountain. “This additional service creates new opportunities for tourism and economic development for northeast Missouri.”

It is an exciting summer at Kirksville Regional Airport, as the new terminal opens soon and this new air service begins. With a larger, improved building for travelers and a new destination, consider Kirksville the starting point for your next getaway.

For more information on Contour Airlines, or to check ticket booking, visit Contourairlines.com.

The U.S. Department of Transportation manages the Essential Air Service program to ensure small communities have access to the National Air Transportation System through flights to hub airports.

Honoring our heritage and our Old Glory today. Ronald Reagan said it best … “When we honor our flag we honor what we stand for as a Nation—freedom, equality, justice, and hope."

🌾🌻 Protect Missouri Farmland, Protect Missouri's Future

Once Missouri farmland is gone, there is no easy way to get it back.

From the rolling hills of the Ozarks to the fertile river valleys, Missouri farmers help feed America, support rural communities, and preserve a way of life that has defined the Show-Me State for generations. Productive farmland is more than open space — it is food security, local jobs, family heritage, and a critical part of Missouri's future.

Clean energy has a role to play, and solar power can be part of an all-of-the-above energy strategy. But many Missourians believe solar panels should first be placed on rooftops, parking lots, warehouses, brownfields, and other already-developed land before productive farmland is converted.

Missouri is known for its corn, soybeans, cattle, and diverse agricultural production, but a strong Missouri also needs strong agriculture. Energy independence and food security should go hand in hand.

Protect the land that feeds us. Support Missouri farmers and ranchers. Keep Missouri growing. 🚜🌾
