Let's talk about what we've been up to since our new council was elected! Elections/changeover occurred in October. In October, we attended the haunted house/trunk or treat. In November, our new council gathered, went over priorities, and set our goals. We also joined Blue Star Mothers and the American Legion Rider in packing care packages for our brothers and sisters overseas. In December, we saw an impending change as our new elected President received orders and prepared to leave. We took this time to reconvene and spend much-needed time with our families. In January, our President departed, our Vice President took over, and we asked one of our members to take on the role of VP, opening a new position. In February, we filled our missing position and added someone to assist with our community relations. We also sent out adorable Valentine's grams. While in our positions, we've focused on professional development, holding an EFDP informational briefing and briefing our ALS classes. We've attended ALS graduations to endorse an award and give a gift. Additionally, we've reestablished a leadership award for Airmen and Supervisors. Lastly, today we held the first CCAF graduation in six years. Pictures will be up soon. We've been tossing around more ideas to give back more and would love to hear your ideas. We also have some amazing opportunities coming up that we can't wait to tell you about.
