What an amazing Juneteenth we had! Talking to voters, getting people to sign the petition to expand Medicaid in Florida and chatted with potential OYD members! All while dancing and having a ton of fun! We also accepted the Oscar Mack Proclamation from the City of Kissimmee alongside the Osceola NAACP!

What we’re seeing is political violence woven from hatred laced rhetoric, emboldened by a man who thinks he’s above the law and his word is law.

The morning of June 12, we lost 49 beautiful souls due to a single act of hatred. It was a DIRECT attack on who we are not just as a community but who we are as people. The St. Cloud City Council silently pulled their Pride Proclamation from their agenda. In honor of the 49 people who lost their lives, we must show up and speak out against the erasure and silencing of our community.
