One of our main goals is to unify all foster parents, adoptive parents, agency representatives, and our community to benefit children who have been abused, neglected or abandoned, and come into the foster car

OFACA meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month @ 7:00pm on the campus of Freedom Life Church in Kissimmee. Our monthly meetings concentrate on relationships, training, and continued education for foster and adoptive parents. This emphasis encourages the retention of families by preparing them to conquer the hurdles present in the child welfare system. It also offers a format for networking and support for foster and adoptive parents in Osceola. BECOME AN OFACA MEMBER! If you are already licensed as a foster and/or adoptive parent in Osceola, we would be honored to have you join the association. Your membership directly supports our efforts to improve the quality of care our families give to children. Annual membership is $35.00

OFACA were our like to thank all of our business partners for placing CHRISTMAS WISH trees 🌲 in their places of business over the last month, making wishes come true for foster and adoptive children in our child welfare system. Today, we get to watch the smiles of those who parent, love, and support these children in their homes/families pick up the gifts donated.

Due to everyone recovering from Hurricane Irma, we have cancelled this months OFACA meeting for tomorrow (Thursday) night. We will meet again on October 12th.

Hey OFACA family, reminder that we will NOT meet this coming Thursday as normal due to school starting. We will meet the following Thursday (August 17th) at 7:00pm. To celebrate going back to school, we will have FREE pizza! Hope to see you there.

Our June OFACA training is this Thursday at 7:00pm on the subject of human trafficking. One Hope United is hosting a foster parent appreciation event before the meeting begins at 6:00pm. There will be food and lots of fellowship! Hope to see you there.

The OFACA family honors a fallen hero, Frank Attkisson. Frank touched countless people in our community with his big heart. He not only served as a County Commissioner, but has made a tremendous impact on our foster care system, especially the children/youth in foster care and those who have aged-out through the ministry of Grace Landing. The Attkisson family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Our next meeting is Thursday, March 9th at 7:00pm. Jerry Pitzer will be providing our training entitled "Advocating and Demanding to Know the Difference."

Thanks to our wonderful partners at Expedia, our kids will have a special visit by WILD FLORIDA at our February 9th meeting, where they will be able to engage with some fun animals. A special thanks to Billie and her amazing team!
