home, an increase of 57.4%.

2000 Hispanic population = 2,682,715 (16.8% of state)
2010 Hispanic population = 4,223,806 (22.5% of state)

• Hispanics make up nearly 1 in every 4 residents of Florida. The future control of Florida politics lies in the Hispanic communities.
