So about last night.......... 😁
I am so grateful to so many people along the way. The supporters who knocked doors, talked to friends, neighbors and strangers, who told me what they wanted from their school board rep, spent hours placing and building signs, and those who let me bend their ear along this journey. The unions and advocacy groups who helped give voice to the message. So many folks who each played a different role to bring it all together.
The coming months will be a different challenge as I prepare to take the seat in November. A close friend asked me last night, "What can I do to help?" Simple...keep doing what you have been doing. Advocate for your student. Join PTA, SAC, or any of a number of other ways to volunteer. Speak up when something doesn’t seem right. All the reasons you had which made you support and volunteer in your own way...keep doing those things.
Thanks for all the well wishes and voices of support. None of this would have happened without all of you!
