This Saturday April 25, 2026 from 12pm-4pm there will be a Spaghetti dinner held to benefit the Schultz family, who were involved in a car accident. Chris, an Armstrong County dispatcher, has been unable to return to work due to his sustained injuries. Please consider attending this fundraiser, which also includes a basket raffle, to support this family during their recovery

Training Complete – Armstrong County Team 330

This weekend, members of Armstrong County Team 330 successfully completed Emergency Boat Operations training. This is another important step in making sure our team is ready to respond when needed the most.

Thank you to the instructors who took the time to share their knowledge and experience.

A big thank you to West Hills Emergency Service & Butler County Team 300 for each bringing 2 boats out today supporting the training, your team work is greatly appreciated. And thank you Bethel Township VFD for landing us your boat for Saturdays Class.

It takes strong teamwork and commitment to maintain this level of preparedness. We’re proud of the effort put in by everyone involved as we continue working toward being a highly trained team that can be called upon at any time.

Today, members of Team 330, along with Team 300, West Hills Emergency Services, and Murrysville Medic 1, successfully completed Day 2 of the PA Fish and Boat Commission Ice Rescue Class.

Students started the day training in 2-degree temperatures, ensuring they are prepared to respond if this type of incident occurs in their response areas.

Thank you to all of the students who attended and made this an outstanding training experience. Special thanks to the departments that provided additional personnel and equipment to support this training.

Drone 330 will be conducting flight operations in and around the Graff Bridge to support a search detail in that area.

This morning at approximately 7:50 AM, Team 330, in conjunction with Stations 60 and 130, responded to provide assistance to Station 280 with an ice rescue operation. Teams promptly developed a strategic plan to utilize Station 60's ARS, which was deployed to execute the rescue. Crew members from all departments collaborated seamlessly to successfully rescue the dog, returning it to shore for warming and subsequent veterinary care. Excellent work was demonstrated by all personnel on scene. Team 330 also successfully deployed the drone to provide overwatch and search the area.

⚠️ A heads up for those on the roads tonight. Road temperatures are cooling with sunset, and any wet spots from melting snow today are at risk of freezing over and creating hazardous travel conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses. Take it slow tonight if you encounter any areas that appear wet as they may be icy.

Drone 330 was dispatched at 0600 this morning to assist Washington TWP VFD Company 280 with a rescue/search operation for two UTV riders. A positive outcome resulted from multiple departments working together. Departments on scene included 280, 60, 240, 250, 260, 230, PSP, Kittanning EMS, and Team 330. Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving.
