Town & Country Transit - TACT https://tact.bamboohr.com/jobs/ We operate transportation services Monday through Friday from 5:30 a.m. until 10:40 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Town & Country Transit (TACT) provides fixed route bus ride service to residents in the greater Kittanning and Ford City areas and shared ride service to all Armstrong County residents. TACT does not operate service on Sundays and holidays. Eight municipalities are members of TACT including Applewold, East Franklin, Ford City, Ford Cliff, Kittanning, Manor, Manorville and West Kittanning. These me

mber municipalities govern TACT by serving on our Board of Directors and support us financially by providing funding to our agency. Armstrong County is also TACT's partner. The County provides funding annually to our agency which helps us to get additional money from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, TACT's primary funding source. PENNDOT funds TACT through grants and Pennsylvania Lottery funds. These funds allow TACT to provide fixed route bus and shared ride service to all of the citizens in our community.

The Green Line Route(s) will Detour as the result of Construction. Bus Route will be detouring off of 4th Ave, 8th Street to 5th Ave to 12th st if heading toward Manorville, or 12th st to 5th ave to 9th street if heading towards Lenape

The Blue Line Route(s) will Detour due to the 268/422 on/off ramps will be closed. The only thing that is changing is we will be using Wible Rd to get to and from the hospital, if you have any questions please call the office, Thank You.

The Yellow Line Route(s) will Detour due to paving in the YMCA parking lot from 7.31.26 to 8.2.26.
If you need to catch the bus at the YMCA please go to the North Water St entrance/exit or the parking lot or call the office. Thank You
