Community Relations & Marketing Assistant (Part-Time)
Are you creative, outgoing, and passionate about making a difference in your community? The Klamath Basin Senior Center is looking for an enthusiastic Community Relations & Marketing Assistant to help us tell our story, engage our community, and support programs that improve the lives of local seniors.
✨ What You'll Do:

Manage and create content for social media platforms

Assist with marketing campaigns and community outreach

Design flyers, newsletters, and promotional materials

Help coordinate events and fundraising activities

Take photos and videos at Center events

Maintain website and digital communications

Build relationships with community partners and supporters

🎯 We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

Creative and self-motivated

Comfortable with social media and digital marketing

Organized and detail-oriented

Friendly and professional

Passionate about serving the community

Experienced with Canva, Facebook, and basic marketing tools (preferred)

NEWS FROM THE GIFT SHOP
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY1 As usual, I want to thank everyone who so graciously donated yarn, fabric and sewing supplies to the shop. Those of us who volunteer enjoy going through the boxes and bags that are donated to us. We have found some unusual and fun items from time to time. We received a bag of really pretty yarn last week. It has been priced and put on the shelves and ready for purchase for those of you who knit or crochet.
This month, I want to recognize Donna Leannias. She makes beautiful & fun tote bags, snap bags, washcloths and a new item called pinch boxes. They are made from fabric and are really unique. Donna has sold her items in the gift shop for the past few years and they are very popular. I have several of the tote bags, most are special holiday fabrics. Come and check out the items Donna and all the other vendors have for sale. I am sure you will find a very special item for your Mom or other special lady in your life for Mother’s Day or just to say I love you because it is Monday.
