Each week our volunteers participate in a training.

For this week’s training, our firefighters completed a variety of tasks through an obstacle course. This course is used to simulate tough situations that may occur in the service. They were required to follow the hose through tight and narrow spaces, take off and put on their self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) packs, help rescue a victim, tie a knot, and find/name a number of tools along the way. Did we mention they couldn’t see??
