It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of K9 Gunner. Devoted partner, K9 officer and friend. K9 Gunner served 10 years as Officer Fox's partner and member of the Klamath Falls Police Department. He retired in 2017, and lived his days as a member of the Fox family. He was loved by all. RIP Gunner we will take it from here.

KFPD regrets to inform our community that Police Canine "Nash" was struck and killed by a vehicle while off duty.

Police Canine Handlers form a very special bond with their Canine partners. Not only are they partners at work but Police Canines become family members and form unique bonds with the Canine Handler's family as well. When situations like this arise they are extremely difficult. Please keep Officer Reichlin and her family in your thoughts as they work though this tragic event.
